The Lady Warriors took on the Lady Pointers of University of Connecticut at Avery Point in the Semi-final round of the NJCAA New England Div. III Tournament. Massasoit was ahead most of the first half and went into the locker room down by only 1 point. But UCAP’s height and inside game caught up with the Lady Warriors as UCAP pulled away with a 78-58 victory.The men vied for the NJCAA New England Div. II championship title against CCRI once again. CCRI overpowered the Warriors in a valiant team effort by the Massasoit squad. CCRI brought home the title with an 84-66 win over the Warriors.
Congratulations to Marcus McLaurin (23) (first team), Rob Adams (3) (first team), Joneiha Veiga (22) (first team) and Shannon Mullen (12) (honorable mention) being named to the NJCAA Men’s Div II and Women’s Div. III All-New England teams.
